The United States has become the world’s largest oil exporter for the third month in a row, exporting around 10.5 million barrels per day in May, according to energy market and cargo tracking company Vortexa.
This comes as the war with Iran disrupts oil exports from the Middle East.
Meanwhile, Russian exports dipped to 7 million barrels per day in May, amid the full-scale war in Ukraine, according to Reuters data.
